an altitude of nearly 3000 meter from the
sea level, with a vertical drop of 529
meter, the snowy slopes of Auli can bring
the best thrill for you.
Unfortunately due
to global warming, Auli does not see much
snow anymore. Because of the climate getting
warmer, expect short spells of snow only
during peak winter months - between end of
December and January. There will likely be
no snow in Auli during any other months. |
For
those familiar with the skiing slopes of
Auli it is the place for attending basic
skiing courses and practicing one's newly
learnt skills on the snow covered slopes.
But Auli certainly has much more to offer.
It is the best place for rejuvenating the
tired body and soul because of it's sheer
natural beauty, the breathtaking view of the
sunrise and sunset, and the clean and fresh
mountain atmosphere.
